Trail Mix Live! returns to the Brantford Farmers’ Market
BRANTFORD, ON – The City of Brantford is excited to announce the return of Trail Mix Live! at the Brantford Farmers’ Market, 79 Icomm Drive, on select Saturdays between May and September. Each event includes live performances from this year’s Trail Mix featured artists as well as various entertainers and games.
"We are thrilled to announce the return of Trail Mix Live! at the Brantford Farmers' Market,” says Kara Davey, Manager of Tourism, Culture and Sport, City of Brantford. “Visit us on select Saturdays this season to enjoy free entertainment, live performances, and shop with our exceptional local vendors.”
Performances will take place from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the following dates:
Saturday, May 30, 2026: Performance by Keith Silver from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Tim McDougald from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Chalk artist from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Saturday, June 13, 2026: Performance by Eric Mills from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and James N. Wilson from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Reptile show from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Saturday, June 27, 2026: Performances by Backburner from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Michael Bryan Ferrier from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Caricaturist from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Saturday, July 11, 2026: Performances by Chris Strei from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Monique Hunsley from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Face painting from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Saturday, July 25, 2026: Performances by Wreckless Harbour from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Monique Hunsley from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Balloon artist from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Saturday, August 8, 2026: Performances by Wreckless Harbour from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Tyler Wilson from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Caricaturist from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Saturday, August 22, 2026: Performances by Jeffrey Lorne from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Tyler Wilson from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Chalk artist from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Saturday, September 12, 2026: Performances from Chris Strei from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Piano Escape from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Pumpkin carver from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

About Trail Mix
Trail Mix merges local music with Brantford’s beautiful trail system. Trail users can look for the signs posted on the kilometre markers along the 10km stretch of trail between Hardy Road and River Road. Each sign includes a unique QR code that can be scanned using a smartphone to gain access to free curated playlists featuring songs by local artists. There are a total of ten playlists along the trail, each with three songs and approximately 10-12 minutes long, which allows the trail user to continue discovering local music during the duration of their hike. The new 2026 Trail Mix playlist will be released on World Trails Day on Saturday, June 6, 2026. Trail Mix Live! at the Brantford Farmers’ Market brings the talented musicians from the Trail Mix program to the market for exciting live, family-friendly performances.
