Tens of thousands of strawberry plants got in the ground, tucked in tight and then the heavens opened with a lovely rain… things don’t often go according to plan but when they do… 🙌.

We will be OPEN Saturdays starting May 23. Our hours will increase once strawberries are in season but starting this Saturday you can stop by for the first items from our fields! We will also be at the Carp Farmers’ Market .

Before Tuesday's video drops, here's a little background.

The Seasonal Agricultural Worker Program connects Canadian farms with workers from partner countries like Jamaica and Mexico each year. It's supported by government agreements, with systems in place for both workers and employers, but part of what makes it special is what happens on the ground.

Many workers return to the same farm, season after season. They're not just employees — they're family.
