I had the pleasure of joining the breakfast with where gave an informative speech about the direction of our community, highlighting major accomplishments already made and some exciting things coming soon.
Afterwards, I had a great conversation with about her role as CEO of the Chamber of Commerce. I was genuinely impressed by her passion for our community and her accomplishments within.
Sometimes it’s easy to stand on the sidelines and criticize, or get discouraged that more things aren’t happening fast enough. But getting involved today really reminded me of something important to keep in mind....there are a lot of people working behind the scenes to make Belleville a better place for us.
I met many individuals who dedicate themselves to helping this city on so many levels. Their passion, pride, and history with Belleville is inspiring to see. I saw a community full of people who care, who listen, and who want to be part of the solution.
The highlight was me standing up out of turn and introducing myself to the crowd.... 😂😂😂
