I'm moving on. I'll be at the Pembroke Farmers' Market all this season, Wednesdays and Saturdays, g'd willing, and the creeks don't rise too much (but let's hope for the rain we always need). Farewell to the Deep River market - it's been fun but life is about change.

Speaking of change: I'll be Rockingham-based Spring to Life's maple syrup distributor this year. It's the absolute best. What an honour they trust me.

YES! I've stepped back into community volunteer life with Pembroke Farmers Market. The new crew elected on Saturday include a majority of food producers, and others bring lots of skill and energy! 😌 ...BUT -- eep! -- markets don't open for a few months yet, so if you are missing the YUM of my various wares, just email me at [email protected] . For now, we can celebrate the lengthening of the days and the retreat of the polar vortex bringing us warmer temps -- all good for the woodpile.

Bones and organs gone for now. Turkeys coming home from the abattoir in bags tonight. They had a good life out in the sumac forest behind their shelter, which always had water and organic feed available. ...As well as the turkey, there is organic pork, chicken, duck, and some entrees available from me, Wilno Farmer.
