We’d love to say it’s her magnetic personality that has them all fighting for her attention, but we’re starting to suspect that magical pink pail of friendship might have something to do with it. 🙃

Either way, she’s got quite the fan club… ❤️

🍂🍁 LISA’S WEEKLY RECIPE: Wild Boar & Cranberry Chili in Roasted Buttercup Squash! 🍁🍂

Now THIS is what fall comfort food is all about! 😍

Lisa is bringing some serious autumn flavour to the table this week with a hearty, rustic chili that’s just a little different from your traditional bowl of chili!

Rich, savoury wild boar is simmered with tart cranberries, hearty chickpeas, and a delicious blend of warming spices. A touch of maple syrup brings just the right amount of sweetness, while a splash of fresh lemon brightens everything up.

And instead of serving it in a regular old bowl? Lisa has gone one better! The chili is nestled inside a beautifully roasted buttercup squash, adding a naturally sweet, creamy flavour that pairs perfectly with the rich, savoury filling. 🎃

Linnhe and Maree have developed internal clocks that are more accurate than anything we’ve ever owned. They know EXACTLY when lunchtime is, and being even two minutes late is apparently unacceptable!

But here’s where things get a little creepy…

We’re pretty sure they’ve figured out where we work, because every single day, about 10 minutes before feeding time, these two little stalkers position themselves outside the door and just… STARE. 👀👀

Not a moo. Not a movement. Just two sets of eyes burning holes through the door, waiting for their personal lunch delivery service to appear…

Meanwhile, Melissa and I are trying to run an actual business, with customers, staff, paperwork and about a thousand other things to do. But apparently, all of that needs to be scheduled around the cows, donkeys, ponies and whoever else has decided we’re their full-time servants.

We used to think we were farmers who owned animals.

Turns out we’re just unpaid restaurant staff with very demanding customers. 🤦‍♂️🤣

Not a care in the world, not a single responsibility… just two very spoiled mini ponies living their best lives!
