I love the kind of workout that leaves you sweaty, energized, and thinking, "Yep. That got me."

That's where 45 Club came from. Every Thursday in June at 6:30am, we're setting aside 45 minutes to move with purpose. 

We'll work through controlled intervals: 45 seconds of effort, 15 seconds to reset. Not frantic. Not chaotic. Just focused work.

Each class is built around three blocks:

Mobility.
Strength.
Core.

Five exercises. Three rounds. Enough repetition to build confidence. Enough intensity to leave feeling strong.

This isn't a traditional Pilates class.

We'll still move well.
We'll still focus on form.
But we'll sweat.

It's only $10 to drop in, and free for Union Members.

It's go time.

Vacation mode is officially over, and I'm coming back energized, inspired, and ready to move with you.

This week I spent time learning from other teachers, taking classes, observing different styles of movement, and soaking up lessons both inside the studio and out on the trails. Between the mountains, the ocean, and a whole lot of listening to my body, I've come home with a fresh perspective and plenty of ideas to bring into our classes.

We're starting fresh this week. Every class is an opportunity to learn, build strength, and create consistency. We'll be laying foundations, refining technique, and then building on that work week after week.

So book those classes. Get those movements in. Your future self will thank you.

Current trip status:

✔️ Taken half a dozen movement classes - everything from sweaty hot yoga to the most authentic 1:1 pilates class that reminded me why I love movement so much!

✔️ Climbed the Sea to Summit trail… which turned out to be WAY more mental than physical. 7km, 3.5 hours of straight incline, and approximately 400 moments of “whose idea was this?”

✔️ Consumed my body weight in seafood
✔️ Slept 8+ hours every single night
✔️ Slowly remembering what it feels like to actually rest, move, breathe, and exist without rushing

Better believe, I'm coming home inspired AF, slightly sore, deeply happy, and probably still smelling faintly like ocean air and tiger balm.

Come start your weekend strong, sweaty, and feeling like a badass. Come for the Pilates, stay for the Muay Thai

Saturday — 6:15pm at Union 108
End your Saturday with slow movement, energy, and the best people.

Getting outside your comfort zone is such a strange little mix of terror and excitement. One minute you’re saying “absolutely not,” and the next you’re signing up, showing up, speaking up, trying anyway.

And honestly? That’s where the good stuff lives.

Not in being perfect.
Not in already knowing what you’re doing.
But in the wobble. The trying. The “this feels scary but I want it.”

Every version of you that you’re proud of started as a version of you that was uncomfortable first.

So here’s your reminder:

Take the class.
Buy the dress before he asks. (I did this)
Wear the outfit.
Let yourself be new at something.

Comfort zones are cozy, but they’re not always where we grow.

Sooooooo, I’m heading to Vancouver May 24–31 and would love your best recommendations before I blindly follow vibes and end up doing 47 hikes and surviving exclusively on one granola bar a day.

I’ll be solo for the first 3 days (main character era), then meeting friends for the last 4 (slightly less feral).

Current plans include
• Sea to Summit hike
• Bike tour
• Full moon kayaking 🌕
• Grouse Grind

Now I need YOUR help so I don’t just suffer athletically and call it a vacation

• favourite movement spots… Pilates, strength, anything that makes me feel like I have my life together
• elite food spots… post-hike meals, cute cafés, “I will think about this forever” places
• any must-do / oddly specific / slightly niche experiences

Saturday at 7:30am - we do Reformer Dupe again.
