Giving Thanks, Every Season. 🍂
Long before Thanksgiving became a holiday, Indigenous peoples had their own traditions of giving thanks — honouring the land, the changing seasons, and the gifts that sustain us.
At Boreal Heartland, gratitude is woven into everything we do.
We give thanks to the boreal forest for all that it provides. To our harvesters, whose hard work and knowledge allow us to share these gifts. And to the generations before us, who passed down the teachings of respect, care, and responsibility for the land.
As we enter another season, we are reminded that giving thanks is not something reserved for one day of the year. It is something we carry with us, every day.
From all of us at Boreal Heartland, we wish you a weekend filled with gratitude, connection, and time with those who matter most.
Tiniki — Thank you. 🌿
