MEET (ONE OF) OUR SISTER BRANDS: Daydream | Herbal Wellness + Aromatherapy 💫

A little change is coming to our apothecary shelves, and we’re really excited to share it with you. Some of you may already know Daydream Organics, and for those who don’t, we’re really excited to introduce you 💛

Daydream Organics is another brand that we have built alongside Prairie Doctor and Forage & Faire for the last 5-6 years. Daydream was created to be our everyday herbalism and natural wellness brand and overtime it has grown to encapsulate a little bit of everything that we do - herbal teas and powders, but also lots of aromatherapy and natural skincare too!

For many years we’ve been making a lot of our products under two labels, Daydream and F&F. As we’ve grown, it feels like the natural next step to transition all of our skincare and aromatherapy over to one label, Daydream Organics.

The best part of this? Besides the beautiful labels? Everything you love about these products are staying exactly the same. Same ingredients, same thoughtful formulations, same values, same hands making each item.

This is going to be a rolling transition over the next few weeks, but we’re really excited to weave Daydream deeper into Forage & Faire - we hope you love it just as much as we do 🌼

With so many different items in the apothecary, it’s always so fun for us to see all of the different items people are drawn towards and are coming in for! Lots of bulk herb orders but also many essential oils, soap bars and bath and body items mixed in too on this particular day in the apothecary 🌱

Your sign to start making your own spice blends at home this fall 🍂✨

Not only is it such a fun little hobby to get into, but it can completely change the way you cook. There’s something so satisfying about creating your own blends and knowing exactly what’s going into them! You can also customize them to your own taste and put your own unique touch on each one.

We’ve been swapping our generic store-bought spice blends for homemade blends made with fresh, organic herbs and spices and the difference in flavour is so, so good. 🤎

Here’s some inspiration for a few of our favourite cozy, warming blends that make even the simplest meals feel a little more special!

Some of our favourite herbs to have on hand during Fall 🍂

Building a fall apothecary doesn’t have to mean filling your cupboards with dozens of different remedies - it can and should be some much simpler than that. It’s making a nourishing infusion with Rosehips sprinkled in to get a little bit of extra Vitamin C. It’s adding warming herbs and spices to your recipes to encourage circulation, support your digestion and keep you inner fire stoked. It’s having a handful of trusted remedies you know will support you throughout the season and in times of need.

Herbalism has always been a seasonal practice. Traditionally people worked with what was in season and growing around them. Our needs and routines shift with the season, and nature always provides us with exactly what we need.
