The world's tallest Deta statue is not in India, but in Thailand! It is made of bronze.

This standing bronze statue of Lord Ganesha is located in Khlong Khuian, Chokwensago Province, Thailand.
At 39 meters long, it is the tallest Ganesha idol in the world. It was founded by Thai princess Someswali Srirajtinidmat.

Like Hindus, Thai Buddhists celebrate Ganesha's birthday by celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi.
Lord Ganesha is known in Thailand as "Frefikenet" (Shri Vighnesh). He is the god of success and very popular among Thai Buddhists.

He is the destroyer of obstacles and the god of success for Thai Buddhists, as in Hinduism. Like Hindus, Thai Buddhists also worship her on the occasion of starting a new business or marriage.

As a deity associated with art and culture, the statue of Lord Ganesha is attached to the logo of the Department of Fine Arts of Thailand.
