We’re looking for a reliable General Laborer to join our team, no painting experience required.

You’ll be working alongside our experienced painters to assist with prepping surfaces (filling gaps, sanding, taping, etc.), setting up and cleaning job sites, packing trailers, and maintaining equipment.

There is potential for this role to advance to an apprenticeship if that is of interest.

This role requires you to be:
• Reliable and keen to work
• Able to travel to and from job sites in Atherton and surrounds
• A team player with a strong work ethic

We are hard working with high standards and we take pride in the quality of work we deliver. That means you must also be presentable onsite, polite to customers, pay attention to detail and have a good attitude.

Just a little piece of history going strong for over 112 years and counting 💪 🎉

With how far the shop has come in the last century its photos like these that take you back to how it all started

I tried to find some older pictures of the bamboo on the entry to town and I've not been able to track any down. If you have some I'd love to see them. One resident told me that there was bamboo also in the park opposite the Butcher Shop at one stage and I did find a picture of that. Looks quite different nowadays but Yungaburra Butchery looks remarkably similar.
