🐑 LAMB vs HOGGET – DO YOU KNOW THE DIFFERENCE? 🤔

We thought we'd share a little bit of farming knowledge with you today! 🌱

While lamb and hogget are sheep, there are a few differences worth knowing when you're choosing your meat.

🐑 WHAT IS LAMB?

✅ Age: Under 12 months old
✅ Teeth: Has milk teeth, with no permanent adult front teeth
✅ Meat: Generally pale pink, very tender and mild in flavour
✅ Best for: Delicious lamb chops, quick pan-fried meals, BBQs and traditional roasts.

🐏 WHAT IS HOGGET?

✅ Age: Generally between 1 and 2 years old
✅ Teeth: Has its first two permanent adult front teeth
✅ Meat: Usually darker in colour, with a richer, more developed flavour than lamb.

Hogget is a fantastic option if you enjoy a little more flavour in your meat, while lamb is loved for its tenderness and delicate taste.

Due to changes in government rules around payment surcharges, we are no longer passing on the surcharge we are charged when customers pay by credit card, PayPal, Afterpay or Google Pay.

But we’ve found a way to give a little something back to those who choose to pay by bank deposit! ❤️

🏦 PAY BY BANK DEPOSIT & SAVE 2.5%!

From now on, you’ll receive 2.5% off any payment made by bank deposit.

That means:

👉 Place your order and pay your deposit by bank deposit → you’ll receive 2.5% off your deposit.

👉 When your order is ready, pay your remaining balance by bank deposit → you’ll receive 2.5% off your balance too!

So, if you choose bank deposit for both your deposit AND your final balance, you’ll receive 2.5% off each payment. 🙌
