As the cooler months settle in, there’s still a good opportunity to sow forage in many areas.

🌾 Tycoon Barley
Great early vigour and recovery from grazing, this awn-less variety will provide quick winter/spring feed.

🌱 Crackerjack II Triticale
Excellent green leaf retention in later stages of maturity, very good lodging resistance and impressive spring bulk up for very high silage yield potential.

🌾 Coaster Ryegrass
A high yielding, fast establishing, mid-maturity tetraploid annual ryegrass exclusive to Norco. With improved late season production, planting will help extend your growing season this winter.

Why Consider Late Sowing?
Late sowing can still deliver valuable feed when matched with the right genetics and management. These options can help:

♻️Renewing trashed pastures from heavy autumn grazing
🐮Increase grazing flexibility
🌾Create silage or hay opportunities
🌱Support paddock preparation ahead of perennial pasture renovation
