MEET THE PEOPLE BEHIND HOURIGAN’S QUALITY MEATS.

We thought it was probably time we properly introduced ourselves!

Hey, we are Trav and Bridge! We’re farmers, business owners, meat lovers and apparently people who thought running a farm, an abattoir AND a butcher shop at the same time sounded like a good idea.

We’re farmers first and foremost, and over time that has grown into something we’re incredibly proud of — our own licensed abattoir and now Hourigan’s Quality Meats.

It means we get to be involved in the whole journey — raising our own livestock, processing locally and putting quality meat on our customers’ tables.

Our days can take us from the paddock, to the abattoir, to the shop… and usually a hundred places in between! There are long days, early mornings and plenty of chaos behind the scenes, but we’re really proud of what we’re building.

We believe in knowing where your food comes from, supporting local and providing good-quality products to our customers.

And while you might not always see us behind the counter, there’s a pretty good chance we’re somewhere behind the scenes keeping the wheels turning! Meanwhile, you’re in very good hands with Rosie and the team doing amazing things in the shop.

Most of all, we’re incredibly grateful for the support we’ve received. To everyone who has shopped with us, recommended us, followed along or simply popped in to say hello — thank you.
