💜 AFTER 3–4 YEARS… IT’S TIME TO SAY GOODBYE TO IPSWICH 💜

This is one of those posts that is a little harder to write.

After 3–4 years of holding our markets at Ipswich Showgrounds, we have made the difficult decision that Southside Collective Market will not be continuing at this venue.

There have been early mornings, hot days, rainy days, quiet markets, busy markets, plenty of laughs and certainly a few challenges along the way but most importantly, there have been some amazing people.

To our vendors and sellers who have supported us over the years some from the very beginning and others who joined us along the way and we genuinely cannot thank you enough. 💜

You turned up, set up, supported us and trusted us with your market days. Many of you became more than stallholders; you became familiar faces, friends and part of the Southside Collective family.

But sometimes things change.

Our markets have gradually moved in a different direction, and after a lot of consideration, we feel the time is right to concentrate our energy on more local venues, smaller community events and some new opportunities ahead.

There is no big dramatic ending and no negativity and simply a decision about what is right for Southside Collective moving forward.

We leave Ipswich Showgrounds incredibly grateful for the years we have had there and for every vendor, seller and member of the community who walked through the gates and supported us.

This isn’t the end of Southside Collective. Far from it. 💜

It’s simply the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.

So from us to everyone who has been part of our Ipswich journey…

Thank you for the memories, the laughs, the support and for coming along for the ride.

We hope to see many of those familiar faces at one of our other markets very soon.

Much love & appreciation,
Anita & the Southside Collective Market Team 💜
