What a lovely day was had at High Country Markets today. It was so satisfying bringing our gorgeous oyster mushrooms to the mushroom loving people again! Now we are most perfectly set up for mushroom production, I see no end of shroomy possibilities!

What is the perfect set up?

Behold! The new, wonderful micro mini mushroom farm in a shed!

It is not a huge shed, but big enough! It is insulated, it is clean and sturdy, it will not blow over in the wind!

There is space for me to do the bucket work, space for buckets to colonise, and a gorgeous, humid, cool quiet space for fruiting.

The fruiting is happening beautifully!
The strangled screams of mycellium dying in the heat has been replaced with the peaceful zen tones of mushrooms doing their mushroomy magic.
