As we head into cooler months, remember that it’s natural for honey to crystallise.

I am about to jar up some creamed (whipped) honey, which helps the honey have smaller crystals, or soft set, so it remains spreadable over winter 🍯

I’m a sucker for punishment.
A swarm needed rescuing from the Ross town hall, which has apparently been on the ground for days.

Very well behaved ladies. They walked straight in!

And they had even been mowed around!!!

Finally got into my hives today.
They are struggling with the drought, as even the weeds aren’t flowering!

But plenty of lovely pollinators in orchard!
