Not a very nice looking feed tonight, but incredibly tasty. A good night for a family rub on some lamb ribs (or dinosaur bones as the little fella calls them). These were a small side to the chicken burgers we had that were homemade with the gentle rub mixed through the patties. What a great night to put some meat in some buns and heaps leftover for a quick go at it tomorrow for lunch. Now to find somewhere to put these bones.

Something a bit fishy tonight. Snuck outside for a quick rub at the BBQ. Rubbed The Seaman all over these fillets and the whacked them straight onto the hotplate. As always, these rubs are much better when the Mrs joins in, and she didn't disappoint with this snazzy salad.

Its been a little while since the last rub, its pretty crazy over the Christmas period and with so many places to be and people to see, its just too hard to fit in a good rub. On tonights menu though is the seaman rub on some chicken breasts. When i bought the chicken from the local butcher i forgot to get the skin on breasts, we all know how much better it is to be able to sprinkle your rub all over the skin of the breasts, but this time were just going to have to soldier on without it. These will go into the weber tonight and be dished up in slices on a salad. More pictures to come later on if i dont forget :)

Pics of the aftermath of the rub in the comments. Amazing is an understatement. Another great rub to kick off a stint of post christmas rubs. With plenty of time at home over the break, theres sure to be a lot more rubbin.

What a great night to have a family rub together, this is the bbq flavoured family rub slapped on a split chook, along with all of the best roasted veggies. Its getting me a bit excited!!
