A new chapter at Belli Beef
This week we welcomed 11 beautiful Belmont Red heifers to the paddocks.
After a lot of research and reflection, we’ve decided to transition our herd to Belmont Reds - a breed developed right here in Australia for exactly the kind of conditions we farm in.
Why Belmont?

- Thrive in heat and humidity

- Hybrid vigour for resilience and longevity
- Excellent beef quality - tender, flavourful, clean
For us, it’s about raising cattle that suit the land - not forcing the land to suit the cattle. We want animals that perform well without heavy inputs, excessive treatments, or constant intervention.
Belmont Reds are known for doing just that.
They’re hardy, calm, fertile and built for subtropical conditions like ours here on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. That means healthier cattle, lower stress and beef produced in alignment with our regenerative values.
We’re excited about this next evolution of Belli Beef - stronger genetics, deeper resilience and continuing to improve the quality of what ends up on your family’s table.
