So many feelings watching the Spotlight Episode the other night - going into depth about how much we are being mislead by the health star food rating system that’s run by the government.

Food manufacturers have been getting away with putting chemicals in our food that just simply should NOT be there and then smacking a 5 star health rating on it because it’s “LOW CARB” or “LOW SUGAR”. It’s diabolical.

We are so lucky that there are pages like Nabula El Mourid out there, that are helping families make better decisions when shopping, without the hefty price tag.

Trust me, as a small business who can not compete with the big corporations prices, I understand why people assume that healthy is expensive. And it’s about time for these food manufactures to start making food that CAN be digested properly and are ACTUALLY good for us, with a rating system that isn’t a scam.

If you feel like you’d love to dive deeper with some extra help and knowledge navigating this for you or your family, there are some AMAZING locals doing incredible work to shed light on this topic.

As mentioned - Rebecca Harwood | Naturopath & Nutritionist who is an incredible Naturopath with a wealth of knowledge on all things gut, health, hormones!

Thriving Tribe Nutrition | Wade Wade is so passionate about kids health and the relationship between there mind and their guts and tackling issues all across the board.

And of course Nabula El Mourid for some simple swaps you can be actioning on your next shop 🙏🏽

And remember, we are always here to help too 💚🫶🏽
