A blend of Okumidori and Yabukita cultivars. We recommend using this blend as thin tea.

Yabukita

-Flavor: Balanced umami, grassy, slightly bitter.
-Characteristics: Classic, reliable and robust.

Okumidori

-Flavor: Deep umami, naturally sweet, creamy, with steamed edamame notes, low bitterness.

Sakura latte with Hojicha 🤔🤔

My friend got me this Sakura latte powder from Japan. It's interesting that the Sakura powder was white but it turns light pink when you add hot water in it.

I followed the instructions to make the Sakura latte:
15g Sakura latte powder
100ml hot water

You can drink it like that but it was way too sweet for me. So I experimented hojicha with it and the two didn't combine it well. Hojicha has the woody taste and just doesn't go well with the sweet. 😬 Well.... I will drink it anyway 🥲
