Our Vision and Mission Statement

To be unique in that we supply truly Fresh Fruit and Veg to our Wholesale Customers to the very best of our ability.

Import Sourcing Pty Ltd T/A Farmers Friend Wide Bay is a HACCP Certified wholesaler of Fruit and Vegetables and Eggs to the Hervey Bay, Maryborough and Surrounding areas with views to expand into the Wide Bay area. We truly deliver FRESH Fruit and Veg because we do not get your product in until you order. This means we do not stockpile and you do not get the oldest box in the coldroom.

We currently supply most of the major cafes and restaurants along the esplanade in Hervey Bay including Enzo’s on the Beach, Bayaroma and Coast Rest as well as Kingfisher and Eurong Resorts on Fraser Island and each week we go about improving the way we operate as we grow. When we do get fruit and veg out of Brisbane, we have a very strict requirement of our suppliers that we get only product that has come into the Brisbane markets that morning (we do not get yesterdays, or the day before’s stock, only fresh) and if we find that they deliver us below par products then we will have to claim a credit on the product and not send that product to our customers. This situation is very rare, we are more letting you know that we check every box and product before it goes out to our customers, so if there is something wrong we are going to find it. Our customers get only the best quality. The only exception to this is if you order 2nds, then we send the product out as it arrives as this is the reason it is usually a lower price.
