It's a good night to have a nice little charcoal fire, not proper 'biochar' as that involves pyrolysis but this will be just fine for my compost and sandy soil.

Re potted my elephant garlic stock plants, from 140mm to 200mm.
Had a feeling i should have done this from the start, not that they need much room.

Will have some for sale next winter season with some saffron plants !

More bananas to ripen in the shed, some tree's starting to fall over too much and have lost some fruit to the rats.
One JavaBlue and two LadyFinger.

Still have a bunch of JavaBlue and a flower, a bunch of Senorita in the garden and three massive LadyFinger flowers developing.

This is my new 'do your best' patch.
Pure white sand, no additives.
Heaps of old veg seed, lupins and garlic.
I had planted some scarlet broad beans a while ago and just now I broadcast seeded,
Onion
Beetroot
Carrot
Radish
More lupins and some everlastings !

It will be interesting to see how its all growing in another few months.
Will probably be full of garlic next winter !

1750 Italian pink garlic.
Weeded, mulched plus charcoal and topped with organic chicken poo fertiliser.
All just in time for the big rain !

Finally cut open my big 'pawpaw' pumpkin for cooking and seed saving.
(Roasted in coconut oil with some picked garlic, salt and pepper)
