PETER MANIFIS
Born into an Onslow fishing family, Peter Manifis is a proud West Australian, seafood aficionado, award winning chef, and passionate advocate for food education.
Peter has created in WA’s most exciting kitchens, participated in food events across the globe and is actively involved in not for profit and community based initiatives. A recent career pinnacle for Peter was wrapping up Incontro Restaurant on a high by being awarded the Best Seafood Restaurant for 2015 at the WAFIC National Seafood Industry Awards.
Peter recently launched his newest venture, Passion Meets Purveyor, supplying chefs with beautiful products from WA family farms and fisheries. Peter is firmly about reducing food wastage and feeding the next generation of chefs with knowledge and power to make positive changes in their kitchens.
Peter is excited by Australian indigenous food and culture, sustainable farming and fishing practices, Perth’s amazing new eateries and meeting likeminded foodie souls.
