Givita Our story starts with buying a mango farm and knowing absolutely nothing so we had to givita-go!

Another visit from the curious Wattle Bird…..hoping they will mention in passing to the cockatoos that there’s an apartment waiting just for them!!!

Lovely to capture a Wattle Bird checking out our lower Cockatube.

Given we already have a pair raising their young in a nest made of sheoak we are fairly certain that they are not interested in moving in 😂

Less than 24 hours and we had a couple of Carnaby’s Cockatoos checking out the tube with a view! So excited….we hope they return.

Is this a sign that there are not actually enough nesting sites for these critically endangered birds??

Exciting day as Cockatubes - artificial nesting boxes - were installed in two of our beautiful Tuart trees.
Hoping that one day we will provide homes to the critically endangered Carnaby’s or Baudin’s Black Cockatoos.

Loquats are ripe and ready to eat! Picking on the north side is on hold as we have a family of Wattle Birds 🤗💛❤️

Excited to see our Macadamia trees in flower….and bees hard at work ensuring we get nuts for the Carnaby Cockatoos!

We also just spent our WA Tree Rebate on 6 more Macadamia trees! Thanks Baldivis Fruit Trees

Slowly emerging from winter and in to spring! Time to sort the mango orchard!
The mangoes are flowering and today’s job was making sure the irrigation system was working for when it’s time to use it!
We mulch the rows to protect the tree roots and minimize water use.

Givita-way……Our grapefruit tree has had so many fruit it is buckling under the weight!

We need the fruit gone this week so we can prune before it starts flowering again🤗

Such a treat this morning as I work under the macadamias…..

Carnaby’s Black Cockatoos paid a visit - maybe to check on their trees!

We have four trees and plan on planting more, love that our new neighbours have already planted ten 🤗
