👩‍🍳Discovering slow cooker meals has been a lifesaver on busy days. A nourishing dinner ready after a long day is truly liberating. 🥘

Andrea’s curried sausages recipe is a perfect example:
combine 2 brown onions,
2 tsp crushed garlic,
2 medium carrots,
9 beef sausages,
1 tbsp curry powder,
4 cups stock,
1 cup frozen peas & corn
Pop in a slow cooker. Cook on low for 6-8 hours, adding a cornflour or arrowroot powder paste towards the end to thicken.

Serve and enjoy. ☺️

You can customize with potatoes, cauliflower, or cream, and use pork sausages as an alternative.

Happy cooking 👩‍🍳

Homemade chicken soup like Grandma use to make 🍲

👩‍🍳 Immune building Chicken Soup
1 whole chicken
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 onion
2 zucchini
4 celery stick
8 mushrooms
2 garlic cloves
2 tablespoons parsley
1 teaspoon coriander
8 peppercorns
4 cups chicken stock
1/2 cup Quinoa or brown rice to bulk it up (optional)

Chop vegetables and add to pot with whole chicken & herbs. Add 4 cup of stock or until chicken is covered, add more water if needed, put lid on and simmer on low for at least 3 hours or low & slow in slow cooker for at least half a day.

The longer the better as you ll get more minerals and gelatine out of the bones. The apple cider vinegar helps with this. The chicken will fall off the bones.

If desired add brown rice in last hour or quinoa 15 minutes before serve.

Taste the soup and if needed add a few teaspoons of chicken stock. Serve. Yum.

Hint: different vegetables can be used

Enjoy ☺️

Dinner is sorted 👇, and your taste buds are about to do the happy dance! 😍 💃
We're talkin' Andrea's Osso Bucco Slow Cooker recipe that's ridiculously easy, hearty, and packed with flavour.

Here's what you need: 👩‍🍳
4 Osso bucco pieces (900-1kg),
2 zucchinis,
2 onions,
2 carrots,
1 can of crushed tomatoes,
2 teaspoons garlic,
parsley,
2 Cup Beef stock,
2 tablespoons corn flour or arrowroot powder

Toss the Osso Buco into the slow cooker, chop the veggies, and add all the ingredients. Cook on low all day or medium high for 4-6 hours, or until the meat falls off the bone.

Hint - If sauce needs thickening, mix 2 tablespoon of cornflour or arrowroot powder with cold water to form a paste, then add it to the Osso Bucco.

Simple ingredients, big flavour, zero stress. ✔️

Save this for later, or better yet, tag someone who owes you dinner. 🥘

Embracing the week's possibilities, I find solace in slow cooker meals that transform a long day into a tranquil evening. As life unfolds, these lifesaver meals ensure dinner is always sorted. 👨‍🍳

Curried sausages
2 brown onion
2 tsp crushed garlic
2 medium carrots
9 thick beef sausages
1 tablespoon curry powder
4 cups chicken or beef stock
1 cup frozen peas & corn
2 tablespoons cornflour or arrowroot powder to thicken

I just added it all to slow cooker and Cook on low for 6-8 hours. Mix the cornstarch/ arrowroot powder with the water until it forms a paste and add it to thicken sauce at end.
Serve & Enjoy.

You can use pork sausages instead I just prefer beef.

This is my simple slow cooker recipe feel free to use it as the base and experiment from there add other veggies like potatoes, cauliflower, add cream, coconut cream etc.

Happy cooking Andrea 👩‍🍳
