Add to slow cooked sauces for a hit of flavour, make your own nourishing bone broths, try your hand at homemade tallow or feed a furry friend. Here we’ve rolled up some lamb flaps to make our own mini roasts for dinner 😋 We’ll show you how they turn out in our stories 🍖

🇦🇺 We are back from the big smoke. Super proud of our E, he absolutely owned his surgery and is doing really well.
I’ve headed to town this morning to fill our own very empty fridge and took a minute to restock the Limestone Coast Local Co freezer! If you’re like us and love a bit of lamb on Australia Day then be sure to pop down and see the girls in the shop, there’s two assorted packs and a bones pack available 🐨

🇦🇺 At this time of the year we would usually be getting ready for a big round of lamb deliveries for Australia Day 🚚
Unfortunately our little fella has to have surgery this week so we’ve turned our priorities inwards towards our little family.
So for those of you who have ordered in bulk from us this season, we hope you enjoy your lamb this upcoming Australia Day and we’ll let you know when we are back on board with another round.
For now, enjoy the latest Lamb Ad Campaign for 2026 😆 it’s the “Shhh” chop in the face bit for me 🤭

🥩 Two years ago for homeschool, Brett, Elliott and I made our own food triangle. Knowing that the Australian model was flawed and outdated, we created our own protein rich, nutrient dense model…significantly reducing the processed carbohydrates/grains and being sure to include healthy fats from dairy, organic cold pressed olive oil, avocado oil and the healing power of honey 🍯

The biggest change we made? Significantly increasing the protein from red meat and eggs and giving fruit a preference over vegetables. (That one is still a little controversial so each to their own!)

Yesterday America introduced a new food pyramid to try and give American children a shot at healthier futures…they flipped their pyramid ‘upside down’….and you can see the message mirrors our little homegrown pyramid.

Eat more meat and eggs, dairy and oils from fruits are good for you (not seed oils), eat a broad range of fruits and a few cooked vegetables and do not be afraid of a little salt and honey!

We had some Christmas visitors…around 150 of them! 🐦
The Straw-necked Ibis is a large Australian bird known as a vital pest controller, eating insects like grasshoppers, locusts, caterpillars and in our case in particular- small white snails. They are nicknamed the “Farmers Friend” and we love their annual visit 🎄
