🎉 ONE YEAR OF FRIENDLY GROCER! ❤️

What a journey our first year has been! From big challenges and lots of learning to changes, long hours and hard work, it’s been a year full of ups and downs.

Running a small business isn’t always easy, especially in these challenging times, but we keep pushing forward and doing our best every day.

A huge THANK YOU to all our wonderful customers and everyone who has supported us along the way. Every visit, every purchase and every bit of support means so much to us.

Here’s to learning, growing and many more years together! ❤️

Thank you for supporting your local Friendly Grocer!

A big thank you to Troy from LJ Ho**er for stopping by for a coffee and showing his support for our local business! ☕❤️

With things getting tougher for small businesses around Bribie, every bit of local support makes a difference.

It's so important that we support each other, shop local and keep our community strong.

Thanks, Troy, for helping spread the message. We really appreciate it!

Let's keep supporting local! ❤️

🚨 STREET FREEZER UPDATE! 🚨

Our street freezer has officially decided it deserves a holiday too! 😂❄️

While the rest of us are working hard, the freezer has packed its bags, switched off and said, “See you Friday!” 🤦‍♀️😂

But don’t worry — it’s getting the attention it needs and will be back up and running this Friday! 🙌

Thanks for your patience and understanding while our very dramatic freezer enjoys its little getaway. 😂

Friendly Grocer — where even the freezer knows how to take a Holiday! 🥶🤣

⚡😂 HERE WE GO AGAIN… ANOTHER POWER OUTAGE!
Energex has reported another outage in the area — 635 customers affected due to trees on powerlines. 🌳⚡
Meanwhile at our store… 👀
💡 Lights: flickering dramatically
🔌 Power: still hanging in there
🧑‍💼 Us: “PLEASE… JUST STAY WITH US!” 😂🙏
After everything we’ve been through with previous power outages, our freezer is probably having PTSD just looking at this map! 🥶😂
But for today, WE ARE CLOSED & OPERATING AS NORMAL TOM.! 🛒🎉
If the lights start doing a full disco performance, you’ll know why! 💃🕺⚡
Fingers crossed the power stays on and we don’t have to relive our last outage adventure! 🤞😅
Stay safe everyone — and thank you for your patience and support! ❤️

Season's greetings to you. We appreciate your recognition of our dedication to community service. Today was a rewarding day at work. A kind customer gifted Sharan and me each a box of chocolates for being open on Christmas Day. When we shared that it was Sharan's birthday, the customers in the store came together to serenade Sharan with a birthday song. We are grateful to serve a community that values connection.
Merry Xmas and Happy Birthday Sharan 🎉🎂🎁😊
