Our beautiful girl has gone to heaven. Matriarch grandmother of 7 generations. An orphaned twin, Mary grew up with our orphan cow and rescue kittens. She followed us everywhere. Frequented school for show n tell. She entertained Will during his surgery recoveries. She often insisted on wandering through the house just to find food. She assisted me on farm tours. She stole the horses food at dinner time.. She survived a horrific dog attack defending her flock winning the vets heart too. She was curious, gentle and extremely entertaining. In her older retired years she demanded she had her own stable, breakfast, snacks and dinner. She would assist in putting the flock to bed and then take herself up to the stables. She would wander down to visit the guests glamping, quite often head bumping a small child for food. She would follow me everywhere. I’m going to miss her so much. The memories will last forever.
