To say I’m stoked is an understatement, here John and Lyndall Picone we’ve had quite a few “firsts”, namely vanilla, cacao, pepper & more. Now after a wait of approx 12 years can we add the humble coconut to our victories which as with the other exotics we were told, “you’re wasting our time”! Again proving that “if you don’t have a go you’ll never, never know!

Hello to all our lovely customers, you will be happy to know that John and Lyndall Picone will be back on Friday Mullum Farmers Market with delicious, wholesome fruit grown without chemicals, artificial fertilisers & no irrigation to force fruit size at the expense of flavour! We will have among other goodies Red Shatoot mulberries, canistel ( yellow sapote ), fresh green pepper, torch gingers, chocolate pudding fruit & much more. Grace is chief cook & bottle washer! I was able to source several kilos of blue pillies to process them into salted anchovies, now we wait for 5 to 6 months while the sea salt does its job. For me there’s nothing more satisfying than a fragrant, salty, & sweet fillet that a has a fragrance of the ocean!
