The majority of our sales staff are Qualified Butchers making communication from every angle very easy and efficient, as we all speak the same terminology. In addition to our catering company, the company is also involved in a carton wholesale division (Gateway Wholesale Distributors Pty Ltd). Our wholesale company sells to Butcher Shops, Carton Meat Distributors, Supermarkets and other Catering Companies around Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Northern Territory. This is of benefit to us as the company now has more buying power and larger product range/availability. The company is also involved in six retail butcher shops around Queensland (One in Toowoomba, Four in Townsville and One in Roma) and another two large catering divisions (Roma and Toowoomba). The company has very close ties to the largest, Australian Owned, carton meat supplier in the country (Teys Australia, A Cargill joint venture). Gateway Providores is full certified in HACCP, Safe Food, MSA and Halal.
