Whew! I've never seen cherries run out the door so fast.

I'm sorry to say, we are now sold out for the season.

Thank you to all our wonderful patrons, it's always a pleasure to be here and see your pleasure in what we bring to you.
Some great conversations were had and it's lovely to hear how people's year has been, good and bad, and to meet new cherry lovers.

Bless you all, have a peaceful and happy Christmas and New Year. May 2026 bring great things to us all.

We found more fruit! I will have limited quantities of beautiful Sylvia variety available this week. They are going into boxes tomorrow, Monday. I expect to have around 80 five kg boxes.
The shed door will be open Monday to Wednesday from 9am-5pm. Then by arrangement.
To reserve a box please call Tara on 0429 408292.
The price per 5kg box remains the same, $60, the per kg price is $12.

These are a delicious dark cherry, one of my favorites and the photo does not do them justice.

Priced to clear!

I have some older cherries packed last week that I need to clear from the cool room as more freshly picked fruit comes in today. The 5kg boxes are now $40 down from $60. Per kg the cherries are $8.
Overall they are still sound fruit, but need eating soon.

We will have fruit available from the shed door from later tomorrow, Thursday, afternoon.

Shed door hours for this season are:
9:00-5:00
All days Monday to Sunday.

Price per kg this season is $12 and $60 per 5kg box.

It's been a wait this year but we will start picking next week. There will be boxes for sale later in the week. Keep an eye on the page for opening day and prices.

Yes, Im in the pink. Silverwoods owners are implacably opposed to any renewable development, and especially here in Mincha, Macorna and Pyramid Hill. This is our home, our life and livelihood, and to have this 28 year labour of love, sweat, stress, time and money threatened by the ill considered rush to cover our beautiful country with useless machinery that harms the environment, adds to our cost of living and production and ruins community harmony is sad and unsettling.

Silverwood has also received these letters! We are very distressed to learn that potentially we will have tens of these towers right at our boundary fences. As yet we dont know what that means for our long term future. Lots of thinking and investigating to do about our long term plans, which suddenly have been upended. Learning about this via grapevine gossip, and then these confronting letters has taken far too much of our time and energy as we prepare for 2025 harvest.

On a positive note, 2025 season, so far is looking like a good one. Fantastic fruit set, nice big cherrylets already and glowingly healthy trees should mean huge sweet fabulous cherries. The countdown to kick off has started, just 5 or so weeks to go! 🥳😳
