Good Feels Friday's....

Cameras are generally installed under negative circumstances, to feel protected, lower insurance premiums, tick a control freak box, all of those examples yes.

But sometimes they capture the pure moments, the genuine ones, the meaningful ones. The ones that show people who you are when no one else is watching.

Thank you Daniel Hewitt from Millthorpe Providore, these flowers could have been marked down for a quick sale and injection of lost revenue to the business, or, as you selected, to be passed on while still looking amazing to 3 ladies who smiled until they signed off work.

You're a good egg geyser 💙💙
Great business owner yes, but a compassionate leader? Absolutely.

Long weekend is upon us!! Weather looks to be turning, footy is on, kids running a muck, but, we have a bottlo. How good.

Hours are as follows, unless I sleep in from the daylight savings swap over, 50/50 🤷‍♂️

Awesome to see our village in the limelight with thanks to Sunrise!!

Great buzz and activity this morning, seeing the kiddies excitement and parents braving out the minus 1 temperature, but you know whenever Daniel Hewitt is around you, it's always hot!!
Well spoken mate 💙💙

Happy Fathers Day to all those out there that are blessed enough to call this day their own.

It marks another year of learning how to do it better, how others make it seem so simple and learning how my own father had the patience, love in his heart but best intentions always from the mind.

Another year of pride, another year of defeats, another year of joy, another year of lessons.

Its crazy to think you can love something so much, but then so relieved when they fall asleep, to go from little giggles and sequels of excitement, to full tantrums and high pitch screaming, but still have the mindset that you're doing ok, always questioning the decisions you made and was the effort enough.

Today marks one day on the calender to be celebrated, but now as a dad, I see the bigger picture, every day is celebrated, every day is a blessing, everyday is a challenge and everyday is different. So yes, enjoy the day, cherish yesterday and look forward to tomorrow.

To all the single Mums, Step dads, uncles, mentors, father figures, you are all seen, you all show up, and you all give your all, that's the gift of today.

💙💙💙

Fire Fair 2026 ✔️✔️✔️

What a fun night, from how it started, a few in the middle, and a couple just before bed, big day, great day.

Again, a huge effort to everyone involved, always takes a village and you all absolutely stepped up and delivered, special mention to John and his elves once again, Phoenix and Blake as always, Sue for the mammoth task of PR and Social Media duties, Brendan for his historic slide show upon entering the event, the event committee who had spent the last 7 months in the background ticking boxes, Dane and his crew on staging, lighting, sound and atmosphere, El Captaiino Nick for the ex*****on during set up and pack up, my amazing staff for copping the bullet sweet and kicking through the extended hours, but also to each and every one of you who attended to chip in and help out in any way or form. I am sure i have missed key roles and names, but you know who you are 😘😘

These events don't just happen, they are not simple to navigate, they are not a wing it and hope for the best, but a collective effort, and to everyone involved, I appreciate each and every one of you.

We built it, we burnt it, we loved it 🤙🙌💙🔥
