The key to a great tasting melon, is that you can't cut corners and do half a job!! We are slowly getting our ground ready for this seasons crop. A well prepared bed and warm soil is vital for a strong healthy crop. We are expecting to achieve this in the next two weeks and get our first melons in.

Breaking ground on the new season!! Fingers crossed for another bumper season and this season we are ploughing up a couple extra acres in the hope of doing some additional crops such as pumpkins, cucumbers and possibly a few others.

The season is not quite over!!! Our vines having given us a second crop. These melons aren't quite as good as the main crop but after opening up dozens or so I'm very pleased with the taste and have full confidence that they are still a better melon than what you would get in town. So we are going to be selling from 12pm today at the start of Monkleys Rd Millers Forest. $1.25/kg cash only.

Competition Results!!!

Thankyou to everyone that has participated in our largest melon of the season guessing competition. I can confirm that 9 of you geussed the weight within 1kg of the actual weight and the closest guess was Shelley Quinlan with your guess of 22.045kg!! Competition finishes this 11.59pm 26/02/2026 (this Thursday night) and the person who has guessed the weight to the closest gram will be announced on Friday afternoon.
