Our Story
No 9 Peanut Butter is freshly hand crafted with love in Eimeo, Mackay, QLD using only Hi-Oleic Peanuts that we proudly source from hard working farmers in Australia's Peanut capital, Kingaroy. Every jar of No 9 Peanut Butter has only 100% natural ingredients of peanuts and a pinch of Olsson’s Macrobiotic Australian Sea Salt. Protein packed and full of good fats, we keep it real by having the nuttiest butters with minimal and natural ingredients...no added sugar, gluten, or oils.
The challenge of fueling my two daughters after a long school day for swimming training , prompted me to look for natural, healthy energy food that the girls would enjoy. After much research, I found the answer....Nuts. Nuts are bite-sized powerhouses loaded with good fat, protein, vitamins and minerals to keep you fuelled. Nuts by themselves however can be boring to children, so by milling these little gems into tasty 'Nut Butters, the options were endless.
I could easily mix a dollop of Almond, Brazil and Cashew Butter into a smoothie, make No 9 Peanut Butter Bliss Balls, add a dollop of no 9 Peanut Butter to fruit, or spread Almond Butter between two slices of bread for a quick and easy, healthy energy filled snack.
My personal philosophy for 'Excellent Health' stems from my experience in Nursing, Education and Yoga Teaching. Staying healthy physically helps me stay healthy emotionally too. If I am eating the right food and staying fit and active, my body/mind is strong and helps me to live my best life, healthy and happy.
