All the way from Normandy, France we celebrate Pont Lโ€™Eveque this weekend!

Developed in the 15th century by Cistercian Monks, this washed rind has flavours of hazelnuts and butter and pairs beautifully with cider.

PDO Pont-lโ€™Evรชque is a protected designation of origin in Normandy. Like all PDOs, it is associated with a precisely defined territory, a specific raw material and a specific know-how. PDOs cannot be produce anywhere other than in the defined area.

Our first cheese of the week for the year is fun and full of funkโ€ฆjust how we want to start the year off!

Made just 10 minutes down the road from us by the legends at Prom Country Cheese, Brewers Gold is washed with Mountain Goat Steam Ale and it sure packs a punch.

Cheesemaker recommendation- I spoke with Daniel this morning and he said Brewers Gold are perfect to enjoy with Champagne, side by side or pour a little over your Brewers Gold and watch it soak in.

It wouldnโ€™t be Christmas without Rogue River Special Reserve Blueโ€ฆand itโ€™s here!

Made in Oregon, USA during fall when the cows milk is at its peak, itโ€™s then aged for 10 months before being wrapped in Syrah grape leaves that are macerated in pear brandy.

Itโ€™s creamy and rich with subtle hints of fruit & brandy, a standout blue thats here for a good time not a long time so if youโ€™d like some get in quick!
