🌧️ Rain, rain, glorious rain! 🌿☕️

We’re not complaining — the country needs every drop! But a little wet weather doesn’t mean missing out on good coffee and delicious food. 🤎

We’re open all weekend, with some cosy indoor seating, a few sheltered spots outside and plenty of your favourites coming out of the kitchen. Our seating options are much less in the rain but we will do our very best to find a spot for everyone!

🥪 Rather stay dry at home? No Uber Eats in Linville, but we’ve got the next best thing — call ahead and we’ll have your takeaway coffees, breakfast or lunch ready for collection! If the phone rings out give it a few minutes just means we are busy with customers - we are only a tiny team. ☺️

Meet Steve!

Ex-Army, a little bit country, a little bit hipster, and officially trusted with our new coffee machine. That’s a pretty big deal around here! 😂

He’s got the beard, the tattoos, the backwards cap and makes a bloody good coffee.

His latte art? Well that’s still in basic training. 🫡

You’ll find Steve behind the coffee machine on Mondays and Tuesdays… the rest of the week, you’re stuck with me! 😂

We’re not saying Steve’s about to bring a whole new crowd to Linville… but we’re not ruling it out either. 👀

We’re giving our coffee and cold brew setup a whole new home, with some exciting additions on the way!

And you know we’re hopeless at keeping our creations a secret, so here’s a sneak peek at today’s experiment…

We’re thrilled to be part of Experience Somerset’s Backroads & Bites Trail this Saturday and Sunday, and we’ve created three special treats for the occasion… plus one crowd favourite we couldn’t resist bringing back!

🥩 BREAKFAST BRISKET – Tender, smoky brisket, eggs and golden sourdough. Country breakfast at its finest! Of course we are using brisket from Somerset’s finest Esk Beef

💜 MULBERRY AND WHITE CHOCOLATE CAKE IN A CAN – A sweet little celebration of mulberry season, made right here at Linville Cafe.

🤎 MILO COLD BREW – Your childhood favourite, all grown up! Our signature cold brew with house-made Milo cold foam.

🧀 MULBERRY & CAMEMBERT GOURMET TOASTIE – Not in the official brochure, but such a huge hit weekend, we simply had to bring it back! Sweet, savoury, cheesy goodness with the option to add bacon or chicken.

Who remembers picking mulberries straight off the tree?

Mulberry season is drawing to an end, and this may be our finest piece of work yet 🤤

Melted Camembert and our cheese blend, with house made mulberry compote tucked into golden, crisp sourdough. Our sweet gourmet toastie—a little taste of childhood, all grown up.

A little country café with some exciting news… we’re FINALISTS! 🥹🎉

Linville Cafe has been named a finalist in the Career College Small Business Award, at the 2026 7NEWS Queensland Community Achievement Awards!
Winners announced late November.

Since taking over in August 2024, Alan and I have poured so much into this business—and seeing it recognised means a lot.

From our locals calling in for coffee, breakfast and collecting their mail, to cyclists, horse riders, campers and people travelling hours to try our cakes in cans, food menu and cold brews—you’ve all helped us build something special here in Linville. ❤️

A huge thank you to our team, our customers and everyone who shares our posts or tells a friend to come and visit.

We’re proud of our country café and so grateful to everyone who’s been part of our journey. ❤️
