Our Story

Lyttleton Stores is a collective of people, combining our loves of organic home grown food and artisan made craft ware. Our mission is to connect customers, makers, and growers, encouraging conscious, ethical, local economies as well as transitioning to a no-waste, lower energy future.

This project will be ever growing and changing as it evolves and others come to contribute by sharing skills and knowledge at the weekly workshops held around the themes of cooking, edible gardening and crafting. PanTree Produce is an organic grocery store, cooking food for the shelves from the gorgeous garden and supplying quality produce from local and Australian organic producers. Atelier is an artisan’s store, exhibiting beautifully hand crafted pieces from local designer makers who have the opportunity to sell their wares and share their skills. Preserve is a workshop space, where visitors and locals alike can come to both share and learn new and old creative and culinary skills. Lyttleton Gardens is a small garden adjacent to the shop that is open to the public. We run Permaculture and regenerative edible gardening workshops and strive to illustrate what is possible at a small, backyard scale.
