Wood Duck Spice

21/10/2026

Rather auspicious week here.
Valued team member Artie (more commonly known as Little Duck) won first prize in a beauty contest. (Just like in Monopoly!)
Rest assured her webbed feet remain firmly on the ground and she is prioritising getting ready for Devonport Farmers Market this Saturday over her debut at Paris Fashion week.
I will see if I can convince her to come along - unfortunately she has started muttering things like "I won't get out of bed for less than two cups of peas a day.." so we'll see how THAT goes!

Congratulations to our October Pin Up pet Winner, Artie the Duck! 🦆

Artie loves duck diving for peas in the paddling pool, and who wouldn't? Especially with this nice weather! 🫛

Entries open again on November 1st! 🐾

While SOME members of the family are at home swimming laps - rest assured that I am here at Devonport Farmers Market with a stall bursting with delicious freshly ground organic Tasmanian yumminess.
Be it a curry, hot chocolate, cordial syrup, spice rubs or chip sprinkles - be assured they are all fresh, local and organic.
No nasties, no preservatives, no fillers, just delicious!

Have you started thinking about that special custom blend you are giving out as Christmas presents this year yet?
What about stocking up on 'Just as Easy Sauce' in time for sauce and relish season?
Have you even TRIED Hot Chip Sprinkles?
If you answered no to any of these questions.... little duck IS judging you.
Earn back her respect... get along to woodduckspice.com and have a peruse. Or pop into Squibb's Orchard Shop, Shearwater Deli and Meats or Forage & Store in Deloraine... if all else fails get along to Devonport Farmers Market next Saturday coming!
