These blue moons are yummy and their skins revert to cream on cooking. Waiting to try the pink eyes.

This will be the place of our first ‘big’ garlic plant. Ev has ripped it, biodynamic preps have been added, a green manure crop dug in, a harvest of potatoes and when we are told NOW we will plant our garlic.

Loving fennel in ALL it's stages. These flowers were picked last Wednesday and are still glorious. Fennel is a great cut and come again crop and we are currently eating side shoots from the, only a few, plants I tried this with last season. We have an abundance of blooms, seedlings from our own seed in the ground, more to come and plans to have excess for teas. Slowly, slowly, we wind a path to greater abundance. Happy full moon in Pieces

Great sadness. Mr fox came a'calling last night. Tonight we have three in a penthouse, one roster and a hen in a makeshift pen, inside, nine chicks in a large cage, inside, one hen, in Amalinde's bedroom, one roster and two ducks outside soon to be joined by a terrier watch. Tomorrow we are seriously making pens. Sad on an otherwise wonderful day.
