Our Guardians of the Lake competition also saw beautiful submissions by a class at Kemblawarra Public School.

We are delighted with their beautiful artworks and they will each receive a Certificate, little trophy and reward for all of their hard work.

Thank you to their beautiful teacher for making sure it all came together. The work and love you have for the children you care for doesn’t go unnoticed and we should all be so lucky to have someone like you in our children’s lives.

The Guardian of Lake Illawarra (Stall holder Edition) ... ✨🌊

For generations, locals have whispered tales of a mysterious Guardian watching over the waters of Lake Illawarra. Some say it's a legend. Others aren't so sure...

After much deliberation, two worthy souls were found to possess the qualities every Guardian values: community spirit, care for our environment, and a love of the lake.

🏆 Congratulations to our two new Guardians of Lake Illawarra, who have each won a FREE stall at next month's markets!

The following are such talented artists and we are in absolute awe of their creations!

Thank you to our stall holders, farmers, teen stalls, food trucks, community and sports groups.

We can cross our fingers and toes for days like today where we genuinely enjoyed everything from the food, the artworks, the plants, the crazy workout session, and talking to you all.

Thanks for coming.

If you enjoy a picnic, a bit of scenery, seeing your kids play with tennis on a pole / giant genga and being in awe of the baby animals, stalls full of treasures, treats, life and handmade goods, this is the spot.

Eggs from Egans Farm are here. Beautiful eggs and supporting a great farmer that looks after his chickens as if they are his children.

Let’s support our teen farmer - Luca with his organic pumpkins.

This Saturday, the sounds of the didgeridoo have echo’d across Reddall Reserve as we welcome a local Aboriginal musician to share a beautiful part of Australia's oldest living culture.

Find a spot on the grass, feel the ocean breeze, listen to the sounds carry across the water and take in a moment that's bigger than a market day.

Good food, local makers, artists, family fun, and a chance to experience culture in a truly beautiful setting.
