Kurrawong Organics This was to be the first vegetable season on the Kurrawong property.

In 1931, Charles Bland, a horticulturalist from Kirkconnell, 30kms east of Bathurst, delivered New South Wales' first Brussel Sprouts to Denning Brothers, at Sydney Markets (the old Haymarket). ick of Brussel Sprout in 1976. As the farm expanded, broccoli became the vegetable of choice with over a million seedling per year being sewn. Today, Kurrawong Organics supply brassicas (Broccoli, Cauliflower, Cabbage & of course Brussel Sprouts) to many of NSWs Organic outlets
