🚍 Centre Bush Bus Service Update

Centre Bush Bus has advised that the Docker River service scheduled for Saturday 14 March and the return service on Sunday 15 March have been cancelled.

Due to forecast rain and road conditions, the operations manager has decided to run day services to Mutitjulu only during this period.

The next scheduled service to Docker River will be Wednesday 18 March.

Please plan travel accordingly and stay safe on the roads.

📣 Community Notice – Change to Trading Hours

Please be advised that the shop will be closed on Wednesday afternoon.

Trading hours for Wednesday will be 9:00am to 12:00pm only.

This closure is necessary so we can travel to Warakurna to collect essential goods and ensure the shop remains stocked for the community.

We appreciate your understanding and encourage everyone to plan ahead and visit the shop during the morning hours.

🚗 Road Update – Tjukaruru Road Reopened 🚗

Good news, Tjukaruru Road between the Kata Tjuta Road intersection and the Western Australian border has now reopened.

Please note the road is open with caution due to changing surface conditions, so motorists are advised to drive carefully and slow down where needed.

Conditions can change quickly, so always check the NT Road Report before travelling.

Great news for the community! 🚌

Centre Bush Bus has advised that NT Roads have now lifted vehicle restrictions on the Tjukaruru Road between Mutitjulu and Docker River.

The bus service to Docker River will be running again this Wednesday 25 February, with the return trip scheduled for Thursday 26 February.

This is a positive step as road conditions continue to improve. As always, please travel safely and stay updated on current road conditions.

🚍 Centre Bush Bus Service Update – Docker River

Centre Bush Bus have advised that due to recent heavy rainfall and current road restrictions, the scheduled Docker River bus service on Saturday 21 February and the return service on Sunday 22 February have been cancelled.

At this stage, road restrictions do not allow travel beyond Muṯitjulu/Yulara, with only light vehicles permitted.

Centre Bush Bus will instead operate a day service to and from Muṯitjulu/Yulara on Saturday 21 February only.

We will share further updates as soon as normal services resume.

The road between Yulara and Docker River is currently impassable due to heavy rainfall overnight.

All travel is strongly discouraged.
