Another huge week at Kadina meat works, but now the van is loaded ready to head over to The Genuine Arthurton Hotel with some of the best meat trays on board, something a bit different this week with some Mingles spices, Lanes BBQ sprinkles and as always Slippy’s sauces, bloody champion bloke all the way from Waikerie.

This old newspaper clipping takes me back. Winning awards was great, but what mattered most was building a reputation for quality products and looking after people properly.

Over the years I’ve learnt that good customer service is everything. Answer the phone, do what you say you’ll do, treat every customer with respect, and process every animal to the highest standard possible.

Another wonderful piece of feedback from a happy customer:

" The flavour is unreal. Really, really good steaks. We absolutely love ours.

I gave Mum some topside schnitzel and she said the beef was so good she just had hers plain on bread and butter. She loved it.

I much prefer the flavour over our previous farm order. We ended up with right on 20kg of meat and received around 4 to 5kg more overall than we had from other suppliers. The flavour was unmatched.

The only thing we were disappointed in was that they minced their brisket, whereas my partner and I love to cook with brisket. I'm sure their brisket would have been chef's kiss. "

We love receiving honest feedback, and this customer was absolutely right about the brisket.

Since this order, we have updated our cut sheet and whole brisket is now a standard inclusion in our boxes. We are always listening to our customers and looking for ways to make our beef boxes even better.

This new chiller will enhance yields and cooling performance for all of our locals getting beef processed here in Kadina.

We have made some exciting additions to our Beef Boxes based on customer feedback and our focus on providing more premium and traditional cuts.

New additions now include:

Flat Iron Steaks instead of Y Bone Steaks
Gerello Roast (Eye of Silverside)
Hanger Steak in selected boxes
Beef Cheeks in selected boxes

These cuts join our range of dry aged Angus steaks, roasts, mince and slow cooking favourites, all raised on pasture at Currency Creek and delivered direct from our family farm.

We are also now offering premium grass fed Angus tallow fat for customers wanting to render their own traditional cooking tallow at home. This will be added to the website shortly. If you want to reserve some, please DM me.

No feedlots. No shortcuts. Just dry aged, flavour rich Angus beef direct from our paddock to your plate.
