We've been a bit silent on our Bay n Basin page recently but rest assured we are still doing our Thursday afternoon Deliveries and theres new items coming to the online shop + hampers every week!

You may have noticed that Murray and Julie have not been around at Food for Life as much recently. Unfortunately Murray was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in February, and has now started on chemo.

Food for Life will REMAIN OPEN! We are currently working on a transition plan with another charity to run Food for Life into the future, so please keep shopping with us as we still have bills to pay.

A big shout out to our volunteers who have stepped up and done an amazing job running Food for Life in Murray and Julie’s absence, please encourage them when you see them! We know some clients have had the odd item missing due to our volunteers needing to learn the ropes as they are now doing things normally done by Murray and Julie, our volunteers are doing all they can to get those items to clients as soon as possible.

It has been an absolute pleasure to serve you and your families with groceries for the past seven years.
