Last weekend was the 104th Harvey Show and we had the pleasure of sponsoring the Dairy Goat section “Supreme Exhibit” for the first time. This award was won by Dandalee Park Ariana (who also took out Senior Champion Doe and Best Udder in Show). Congratulation to Trevor Blight on his breeding, and thanks for your patience when we wanted a photo after a very long day! Thanks also to Sandy Karasek (whose photo I have stolen) after she accidentally posed in front of our sign with her Junior Champion Doe Fireside Giggle. Another great show to watch, and it was fab to see so many people attending their first show. Ryan even got subbed in late in the piece to help Dandalee Park, stay tuned for next year - he might have to show our own goats ! 🐐 🐐

Had a great day at our first market, and we were blown away to sell out of almost everything! We truly couldn’t have asked for a better start.

A massive thank you to everyone who came down, had a chat, and supported local during what we know are some pretty tough times. It genuinely means a lot to our little family farm 🐐

However… word has clearly travelled back to the paddock. The girls have caught wind of our market success and have officially begun unionising, demanding a greater share of the profits.

Breaking news: negotiations are expected to be long and complex… mainly because they seem to have forgotten the first-class lifestyle they’ve enjoyed for the past 12 months without producing a single scrap of cheese! 😅

Welcome to Vine View Farm! We are a small vertically integrated goat dairy located in beautiful Harvey, Western Australia. We are owned and operated (with the help of our forever forgiving families) by us: Ryan and Hannah. We are two vets who decided “life isn’t busy enough, let’s buy some goats and make cheese”. So in late 2024 we found our farm in Harvey, purchased some dairy goats, and learnt how to make cheese.
We’ve come a long way since then, and now we’re finally producing and selling our very own goats cheese!
