After having our minds (and taste buds) blown at an authentic American style BBQ restaurant in Brisbane, we were on the lookout for more ways to experience this awesome food. We weren't aware of too many places that could satisfy out cravings close to home so when two of us spent a month in the U.S of A, the homeland of traditional BBQ, we knew we had to do something about cooking it for ourselves
when we got home. One team member managed to score a smoking cabinet from his wonderful wife, another quickly followed suit with a cheap stacker that would set things in motion that quickly got out of hand. Along comes the Burleigh BBQ competition. Just a visit to see what it was all about turned into a day full of meeting awesome people and getting some tips and tricks from some very well practiced BBQers. From here the collection of Weber kettles started to grow and the cook-ups got bigger and bigger. Burleigh comp came around again and Nathan had the chance to compete with Paul and Bronnie from Bulldogs BBQ (thanks guys). An awesome weekend and a 2nd place in the chicken category was all that was needed to take the next step in forming our own team...

Here we are. Dedicated, passionate and out for a good time (and some tasty BBQ). Taking the rest of the 2017 season to train, taste and perfect our hand-ins, we'll be ready to hit the ABA comp circuit in 2018. Team Members:
