Our Story
Our story begins back in 1948, when our founders Fred Goodchild and Bob Williams established a meat company, beginning selling beef and lamb carcasses. Our current facility was built in 1978 and we have been boning and selling meat direct to the public ever since!
Our meat is sourced direct from the South West, with a rigorous quality assurance program. Our boning room also holds Halal Beef, Lamb and Chicken Certification.
We have an outstanding team of approximately 30 team members, including multiple family members! In 2007, we added a retail butcher shop, selling direct to the public at wholesale prices. Linked to everyday low prices, the retail Butcher Shop provides our customers with the best fresh quality product.
Our family owned business has grown into a well known name in the meat industry, servicing butcher shops, supermarkets, hotels and restaurants and we are proud to continue our legacy!
