We have to remind ourselves to celebrate the little business we built 10 years ago so when we got invited to the Small Biz Awards we hesitated and then were like umm no… we have to head along. We met other local folk, had a rare evening out and were reminded that small businesses quietly run da world from homes, dying suburban shopping strips & rural towns. Small is strong. Small is mighty. Oh, and we received a commendation for Excellence in Small Business. As always thanks to the farmers and families that make our wheels turn every week - season in season out.

⚡️Beep beep. We’ve spent ten years perfecting our weekly veg box deliveries- from designing what’s in the box to sharing our lives with the awesome local and organic growers we visit every week, to the lean thinking around delivery logistics or the kind of collapsible crates we pack into, and ofcourse what epic electric van we drive. This month we’ve been averaging 150 weekly deliveries including a new school drop. We live for perfecting the weekly rhythm and feel stoked to see big stacks of veg boxes rolling out the back ramp and into our van.

It’s been so much fun to work with the crew .farms.coop to bring their veggie box deliveries to life together! 🫶 Not sure if you know but we just love sharing our box packing joy and all the lean systems they go into a box with farmers and friends. Plus we have learnt so much by watching their box packing flow it’s been inspiring and given us some great ideas for future boxes and box consulting.. watch this space.

🚐 All in one Friday mornings farm pickups on the Mornington Peninsula in our zippy electric van. Organic kale and brocolli from Joe, cucumbers, blueberries, , and last stop . We do this route twice a week every week of the year - all while our other van loads up
