Growing and learning for the love of my babees! They have taught me not to use annual pest control, stay away from herbicides and harsh chemicals.
Faster, better, stronger is not the way..
I used to do annual pest control, my whole bee colony collapsed right in front of the hive. Absolutely gutted.

I’ve learnt companion planting deters pests and now use natural methods.

Yes, I have been missing in action! Sincere apologies. Happy Easter everyone!
And for those 🐝 - lievers, "God has risen!

I needed to go inward, to re-wire, to heal, to grow, to just bee... Let the dust settle and see what gems and opportunities, I can take away from each life lesson and go back to the drawing board after hitting the wall.

Ever since leaving My mother ship - Singapore, making down under, home. I needed to discover who I really was, what my truths are, my beliefs, vision, and am I living the life I said I wanted and envisioned. Stripping myself of how I was shaped and moulded (family, friends and country) until I was stark naked.. bare..

This was about 6-7years of solitude and first 4 years of really doing innerwork. What a journey it has been. There's something grounding about to this magical land down under. The animals and nature is always something that can ground me instantly and be one with The Source or I'd like to call it coming home to you/oneself.

Coming from a super fast paced city to the opposite spectrum, where everything - you have to Wait Awhile (Western Australia). Everything that I hold dear to my heart requires - Time, care and patience. Growing mushrooms, rescuing swarms of bees, honey, making tinctures, ageing honey mead, growing plants, everything a minimum of 3-8 months! To the US folk, we do NOT have Amazon 1 day delivery even! 🤣 We finally have fibre optics for super fast Internet speeds 😆😆😆.

It has surely taught me patience and to wait for Great Things and to slow down, respecting myself and my boundaries. Really learn to live life and thrive.

I haven’t grown gourmet shrooms in such a long time. It is always such a grounding and rewarding experience.
Being able to share the fruits of my labour with neighbours, customers and friends… feels amazing 😻

Lack of sleep as these babies started pipping yesterday at different intervals. Travelled to two rocks just to pick up fertile eggs. A good mix of different breeds. 21 days later and here they are. Praying I have more girls this time. Need more help with pest control in the garden.

Exciting times.
