Busy Local Butcher Shop - Deloraine

Our little shop is busier than ever thanks to locals supporting small business and Tasmanian beef — and we need extra hands to keep up!

We’re looking for 2 casual team members to join our friendly crew:

CASUAL BUTCHER
You’ll be doing:
Cutting, trimming, and preparing quality Tasmanian beef, lamb, and pork
Making sausages, mince, and small goods
Maintaining a clean, safe work area
Serving customers with a smile

You’ll have:
Butchery qualification or experience
Ability to work fast in a busy environment
Great attitude and pride in your craft

CASUAL COUNTER HAND
You’ll be doing:
Serving customers with a smile
Weighing, wrapping, and preparing orders
Taking phone orders and giving cooking advice
Keeping the display cabinets looking amazing
Cash handling and cleaning

You’ll have:
Customer service experience is great, but a friendly, helpful attitude is a must
Confidence talking to people and working as part of a team
Available for busy

Also for tomorrow only (Monday 3rd August 2026) lamb loin chops will be a crazy low price of $22.99kg. That’s a saving of $12.00kg. Be quick as it will only be available while stocks last.

After nearly 6 years with us, we’re saying farewell to Colby…

He has been such a huge part of our team. We’re grateful for his dedication, hard work, kindness, and the difference he had bought to Bests Butchery.

Please join us in wishing Colby all the best in his next chapter. His last day will be this coming Friday 15th May.

You’ll be missed Barry 😉
